I wanted to introduce a second aspect of the project, which is the blog posts themselves. With podcasting being a relatively decentralized media, it is a lot harder to branch out. Additionally, not everyone enjoys listening to podcasts- (no matter how great the self-created music is). Normally this will be just like any other post, wherein I will be focusing on either a concept or an additional element to whatever topic I covered in the podcast episode, in the more traditional essay format. However, since this is the first post, I realize that I should first start by discussing and sharing some of the thoughts and processes that lead to the project.
So originally when I was focusing on narrowing down my thesis, I realized that I really wanted to focus on the interior and the exterior. However, I quickly realized that in doing so, I was failing to really capture what it is that captivated my interest. So, I tried to sketch it out, but I still failed to convey exactly what I was interested in. So, when I attempted to type up a written summary, I realized that I wanted to spice it up and I created a series of easy newsletters and used that to explore my project.
So, for my first post, I have included some JPEGS of my original submissions to catch everyone up.
